Default Twin Turbo v6

I was just Curious to ask what other peoples ideas were on putting a twin turbo into my 3.7 1500. I have seen and read reviews on the new eco boost Fords, but lets face it, one its a ford and two I sure know i dont have the money to buy a brand new truck. Thats what brings me to my question, does anyone know of companies that make or supply a turbo that would fit, or cost wise what am i looking at. I dont know a lot about turbos, except the basics, but i would love to hear what anyone has to say about it.

I think it would be a great project but seems like it could be very expensive to get it to a finished, reliable condition if it were to be a streetable vehicle. I would recommend reading or purchasing HPBooks Street Turbocharging by Mark Warner, P.E. It would give you an in depth understanding of some of the complexities of turbo charging a vehicle put into lay mans terms.
You might want to look at a Dodge Stealth twin Turbo engine swap.. 300hp, 307 ft. lbs. torque.. Good Luck!!

They do have a system for the Ram 2003-2006.
But they also sell a universal system here is the link.

Welcome to the forumz.

The cool thing about a turbo is that you can put one on pretty much anything. The downside is going to be the cost. Also, you are adding forced induction to an engine that was not made for it so the boost and therefore the gains are going to be limited without extensive engine upgrades. My guess would be you would come out better financially putting that money towards a used Hemi truck. Not to mention having a vehicle that is operating within the parameters that it was originally designed to.
