Default exhaust manifold fix

so im thinking of getting the exhaust manifold fix. i went under there and found out that a stud is missing, im guessing its broken also found that the gasket is bad cause theres black stains around the manifold. i just wanna get a heads up from you guys on how much would the cost be for a repair like this or what would you recommend me do before i take it to the shop. im thinking if im getting this side done might as well do the other side? would be nice not to hear that ticking sound anymore.

It needs at least a new stud. A shop can drill it out and install a new one. The manifold needs to be checjed if its still straight. If not, you need a new one.
There is no need to replace the other nanifold, too.
If they removed the manifold anyway, they should replace all bolts. Don't worry-let coolant run over and wait an hour. They come out very creamy. Better than with wd40.
How much it cost? Don't know.

Its better to do it yourself. I just drilled and tapped 3 holes that had broken bolts n it. Took about 4 hours to tear down and put back together. I usually charge at my shop about half hour labor for each broken bolt plus the labor for r&r of manifold. Depending on shop u go to and there rates ur looking at 2 to 300 dollars plus parts for repair.
