I've had the same problem on and off. I think there's a contact problem with the button in my truck. When I press the entire switch assembly up hard and then pull the switch it works. Also, it seems to really act up in the heat.

Im glad to see I'm not crazy thinking the heat seems to aggravate the rear window troll's. It must be a bad contact then if heat is effecting the situation. I'd be almost willing to bet the cable is not plugged all the way in behind the switch but Im not willing learn how to remove overhead console. I'd rather the dealer break it than me

i had that problem but after a day or two it stop working completly,..

the dealer change the cable asse,bly plus the braket,.. never had a problem with it after and its been 3 years,..
