Default Moroso Air Oil Separator Ordered

I see a ton of BT catch cans on here. But I've chosen to use a MOROSO Air/Oil Separator Part no. 85496 Yes it's a universal one and I will make my own brackets as needed.

Has anyone else on here used one on their 4th Gen Hemi..?

I have the Moroso 85472 and one of the brackets that came with it worked absolutely perfectly. I've owned and like the BT catch can but I love the Moroso because of the incorporated drain valve. Build quality is excellent and it is chambered like the BT as well.

I have it and the only problem I have had with it is the drain freezing up. I am in Minnesota and I see you are in Canada so you may run into the same issue. If you run the engine for a while before you drain it the engine heat is usually enough to thaw it.

Yeah, I've never tried to drain it in the winter before I warm it up a bit.

I have a Moroso that was actually made for the fourth gen Ram. I got it from Summit Racing and used it for 40K on my previous Ram and now on my new one. Great product, perfect fitment and still looks like new today.

Sorry to bump an older thread, but I ordered the Moroso for my new 13 with 8 speed. Will fit, but it came with no directions. I have no idea how to put the thing on. Anybody get step by step directions? Please help...I can't believe it came with no directions!

Just installed mine today, took only about 15 min, very easy. Take a look at the pic and it says it all. It may be different on the 8speed. But still simple. Looks great and appears to be easy to drain. Got mine from DAP.. Thanx fellas!!

The instructions for these are on Moroso's web site, down near the bottom of the page. The 4th gen Ram truck specific part # and install instructions are #85479. Others may work but this one has the correct mount for 4th gen Rams.
