I wonder why only some are affected. Was it a bad batch of hoses? Maybe a bad batch of antifreeze? All I know is mine built in April 2013 has no foul odors coming from my coolant and hoses.

As my luck would have first 3 Rams I owned not the first problem a side from Goodyear Tires!! Ram is an Awesome Truck!!

This truck truck came with wrong gear 3.21. Chrysler did a buy back with a smile exchanges the current 14. The 14 is even more awesome not one single flaw.Like all the other 3 Rams were until first 3000 miles. Then the Oder starts. Dealer told me the never herd of any issues. They want to see the Truck this Tuesday. I ask if that had hoses in stock....of course not for a 14. I told him 09.10,11,12,13,..lol...he said bring it in first. So here I go again.

AND I AM STUPID?
What the hell are you saying in your first sentence? I "not the first problem"? huh?
Exchanges? mean Exchanged? can't tell i am too stupid to understand your proper English.
Oder=Odor
Until first 3000 miles or after 3000 miles?
Herd? Like a herd of buffalo or you actually used your ears?
Did you "ask that"? would have gotten better results if You "asked if they"

Stupid is as Stupid does.
All these problems are a bummer I really feel sorry for you, you should go buy a Tundra.

To anyone reading besides Rammit I apologize for this post, I was attacked by this guy out of the blue for sharing my story. He addressed my post by jumping on me and calling me names.

I had posted earlier in this thread regarding the smell in my '13. They flushed the coolant. The smell came back immediately. After the second visit, they had all the hoses and coolant on order. Because of back-order, by the time it all came in, I was already in my '14.

I will add, that I have experienced the same smell in my '14. Not as strong, but it's there. I am going to leave it for now, but I'll be monitoring it, and once a TSB comes out with a definite repair, I'll bring it in.

I have to ask,
does the odor smell sort of like someone welding on galvanized metal or the smell you get if you have ever been near a battery recycling place ??

if it does, it may make you ill & getting it out of your upholstery can only be done by steam cleaning

that smell can come from heated coolant, especially HOAT & OAT, if there is copper, lead, & a few other metals in the radiator system, including the hoses

2014 Ram Sport, strong fish smell in cab. Thought it was leather cleaner but started searching on here. opened the radiator cap and OHHHHHHH MY GOD, smells like rotting fish. It's SO strong and now it looks like I will be visiting the dealer and let them get a good whiff of fish fluid, plus showing them this post. I have 6K on the truck and not HAPPY if hoses need to be replaced. Complete horsecr@p
