I have a 14 sport w/hemi and am experiencing this same problem. Just called Chrysler customer support. The rep I spoke with had not heard of this issue though. Their response was to contact a local dealer on my behalf. I did, however, ask that they log my issue and make sure it was reported. So hopefully I've done my part to raise awareness. I will report back on my experience in getting the issue repaired.

Received my weekly update - Still no parts available anywhere globally.

Anyone else having luck getting hoses?

I have a 14 CC Sport. Same issue. Smell is getting worse now as well. I called customer support and logged a complaint. I guess I will have to deal with the smell until hoses are available. Wonder if 14 models have different shaped hoses or if model year 2012 would work.

There are hoses to be had. I have already checked that out. But they are the same hoses we have now. I pulled mine in the garage and looked it over. It can't be the anti freeze cause its contained unless you have a leak. Only thing it could be is the release agent and what ever else they use while molding the hoses. Ever smell a new hose from a parts store? I took a good cleaner like 409 or such and scrubbed the hoses down. After they dried I sprayed them with Fabreeze. I got no more stink when the heaters on or when it isn't either. Must be great engineers they have at Chrysler...

So you are saying that simply scrubbing the hoses (which ones, main, return, heater, transmission) and 'fabreezing' them you eliminated the odor?

it would seem like If that was the only hoses to be had as they say then all the new trucks would have the odor issue. Not all the new Trucks have an odor issue. The 1500 RAMS only so far. The 2500 and 3500 are not reporting issues. Where did they get the hoses for all the other trucks? Its BS from Chrysler not wanting to replace he coolant and hoses if you want my two cents worth. All about the Mighty$$$$

I to have the same issues... 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Bighorn with 6300kms smelly engine and rad hoses. The dealership that I dealt with were stupid in my mind. After three visits I located the coolant problem. the smell was so bad that family started getting headaches. My wife has medical problems already and the smell sure didn't help. Dealership wanted me to drive the vehicle. I left it at the dealers. contacted complaints department of dodge they are unaware of these issues regarding the smelly coolant. I think with the 16 pages I just read on this issue on this forum that's BS. lodged my complaint expecting call back tomorrow from Dodge

The coolant smells like that naturally. If its contained in the cooling system you can't smell it. Go to a parts store and pick up a gallon of coolant and tell me if you smell it through the bottle. You can't! Scrub the top and bottom Radiator hoses and the heater hoses. Rinse them off and let dry. Spray them with Fabreeze and let them dry. The smell should be gone. I didn't use fabreeze I used a specialty cleaner called Thieves oil cleaner made by Young Living. And Chrysler knows about the problem. I have a paper on it with a case number from Chrysler.

I will try the hose cleaning idea. Can't hurt. Coolant really smells bad though and nothing like it does right out of the container. It seems to have changed its' properties somehow.
