At least they are doing something now, after they originally told me their "hands were tied".
Well I picked up my truck from the dealership late Wednesday night. The service manager said they had to flush it 3 times to get the odor out of the system. He also stated that when they were doing it, they had to open the shop doors because the odor was so strong, it was making all the mechanics sick. He stated he now understands why I was so frustrated with this smell inside the cabin.

I will keep you updated on if the odor comes back, which I assume it will since Dodge would not let them replace the hoses also. If it does, then I am afraid I may have to do what it takes to give them their truck back, which sucks because I do love driving it....

About 3000 miles I noticed my truck smelled like a dead animal. It was cold out and I looked under the hood and couldn't find any dead animal. When it got a little warmer out I crawled under the truck and still no dead animal. I then took the truck to a dealer close to my work and they told me that it smelled like of their other trucks but a lot worse. They put my truck on a lift to see if they could find anything. About an hour later the service rep talks to me and shows me the Star Case that identified the problem being with the hoses and the OAT coolant. I left as I had to pick my son up from school. A couple of days past and I called the dealer that sold me the truck to arrange for a warranty repair, I stated that what was going on and that I wanted the coolant flushed several times and all the hoses replaced. They made an appointment on Monday the 10th of Feb at 6:30 in the morning. I got there at 6:30 and explained to the service adviser why I was there. He said "you don't have a hole in one of the hoses" and I said "No, I want all the hoses replaced because the truck smells really bad". He told me that he didn't know if they could do anything. They took my truck to the back and about an hour later I get called up front and the service adviser shows me the Star Case and points to the section that says "No repairs should be performed at this time". I told him that I refuse the drive around in a $42,000 truck that smells like a dead animal and if I have to I will contact the local TV stations to get help. He told me "you gotta do what gotta do". I was mad when I left the dealership. A few days later I emailed the salesman what had happened and state what I was going to do and even thought about lawyering up and that no judge in their right mind would let a consumer drive around a $42000 vehicle that smells like a dead animal. He then forwarded it to everyone, including the owners. Needless to say, they ordered all the hoses and 1 of them has an ETA date of 17 March. Tomorrow I dropped my vehicle off and will be getting a loaner. Hopefully they get the part in sooner than that, but we'll see.

My 2013 dodge durango does the same thing. Smells like cat pee. I have heard that Dodge is trying to replace ALL hoses but this may not work to correct problem. Also heard that Dodge is buying some of these back because they are so bad.

I just got mine "fixed" this week. They changed 3 hoses, yes only three, and flushed the system. Mine is a 14, so I am curious if some of the hoses were already the new version? Anyway, no stink so far. Time will tell.....

i think they were supposed to change the cooling tank as well, or whaever it is called...but hey, as long as it is fixed.
So far, it seems it is not in the rams only and second, changing the hoses and flush fixes the issue.
How long before some company reads this and produces some hoses. I, for one, I'd pay for the flush out of my own pocket and buy after market hoses.

My truck is at the dealer now waiting for 1 heater hose, ETA 17 March, in the mean time I am driving a rental. The rental truck may be a 1500 Big Horn, it doesn't have all the options mine does. I do hope the hose comes in sooner.
