Default Choosing Replacement Speakers

I am clueless when it comes to car audio so I need a little help..
My rear speakers dont sound like they have hardly any sound coming out (they do, but it is very faint) and all the sound is driven off the front speakers.
I would like to replace all the speakers, but have no clue on which to go for. Im not looking to become an expert on the physics of all of it, maybe a real quick idea what what the numbers mean (RMS/peak voltage/etc)

I have the factory (non-nav/screen) head unit and 4 speakers. I dont want to add any amps or anything. Just want fuller sound inside the truck

Thanks

Have you tried www.crutchfield.com? It will tell you all the speakers that fit your truck and anything you need to install them. A new head unit would help out a lot too. Even a cheap one would be way better than the stock one

Have you checked your fader setting? Maybe it got set to front by accident.
If your stock Speakers still sound ok I would get a new head unit. Something from Pioneer, Kenwood, or Alpine will have way better sound cause they make way more and cleaner sound even with the stock speakers. Your best bet is to replace the head unit and speakers if your budget can swing it.

For speakers I like Infinity, Alpine, Polk, and JBL.

I bought some Infinity speakers as an upgrade in the past for my wifes car, and the clarity sounded really good but I lost just about all the bass. Ended up having to buy a subwoofer to get it back.
I dont want to go down that route again and dont want to start a full upgrade path thats gonna get me more involved than i wanted to be.

That was not caused by the speakers. Many factory radios do not have enough power to get the most out of aftermarket speakers and bass reproduction is very power dependant.

thanks for the input. So with that in mind, what spec or feature does that reference when looking at the speakers? I guess Im asking what do I need to look to know if I would have the same problem?
