Default Anyone use Fat Mat?

Has anyone used this particular deadening? Amazon has it pretty cheap. I'll be covering the rear wall of the Cab. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Do not ruin your truck with Fatmat. Get a good butyl product, even if it's not Dynamat.

Fatmat is made from tar. Any sound deadener is pretty much a permanent install, so you should get something made with quality materials.

Yep, Dyno is for sure better product and it runs about 325% the price. I'm flexible, but you have to be somewhat competitive with your pricing to keep me. My car has Stinger products used for deadening, and I can't tell the difference between the two.

There are quality alternatives to Dynamat, but Fatmat is not one of them. Also, if you use the 25% rule, the price of Fatmat vs the alternatives is not nearly as substantial.

Many people feel they need to cover every square inch of every panel, which can get expensive, if you're using Dynamat. Not to mention add lots of weight.

I had FatMat in My Jeep Cherokee. Doors, floor and ceiling. It worked great, but my God did it stink !!!!! The thing smelled like road construction for weeks. In my last Ram I had a butyl based deadener made by Fatmat no smell and easy to work with. Its a little thinner than The Dynamat extreme but WAYYY cheaper. I would look for this stuff.
