Default 2013 touchscreen in a 2012

does anyone have any idea if even possible to switch out the touchscreen and ac heater area in a 2012 to the 2013 style it looks like the main plastic piece would be able to just clip in normal. just have to fit in the new touchscreen. but would all the wires for heated seat and ac etc be the same plug. or is their more options on the 2012 that use different wires and such

would love to swap mine to a 2013 style but wondering what the process consist of anyone have any idea??

Sorry to burst your mod bubble, but no, it is not possible to hook up the screen and AC controls. The wiring, associated computers and plugs have changed. The new 2013 radios are practically embedded in the trucks DNA at the factory. Even the people who have 2013's and want to upgrade to a better version can not do so. (with exception of adding navigation).

I am sure, if you had the time and money, one could put the bezel piece on there and with some mad mad Macgyver skills could re-wire and make it LOOK like it, but the functionality would not be the same. Not to mention that it could void your warranty if you start hacking away at cables, harnesses and stuff.

This question has been asked many times, myself included.
