Default DIY headliner repair

Anyone ever do this? Reading the instructions it seems pretty straight forward, but then so do a lot of things I was just wondering if there are any tricks or tips to get a good result. When it comes to wrenching on stuff things usually turn out good, me and gluing things....well, not so much lol.

I re-did mine last summer. Went to the fabric store near me and they actually had headliner material. I shy'd away from the factory light grey and bought some nice sturdy blue fabric that matched the interior perfectly.

Pulled the hook and rear light, visors, and A pillar covers and pulled the old headliner out. Scraped the old fuzzy foam off. Applied Heads Up headliner adhesive and laid the fabric on it, (it actually has a foam backing) and pressed it on.

No wrinkles, pulls, nada.

Hmm, never thought about going to a fabric store, I might go check that out. I have to go there anyway, need to get some vinyl for the speaker mounts in my ski boat.

This is the kit I was thinking about ordering http://www.stockinteriors.com/autohe...33&ModelId=160
