Default Back up sensor's

The shop that installed my aftermarket bumper is wanting to buy the sensors only that came out of the stock bumper.

I had the new bumper built without the sensor holes because I didn't want them.

So he is offering me $100 for just the sensors. Does that sound like a good deal. I plan to sell the bumper as well on craigslist without the sensors.

Sell it as a whole... Don't remove anything.. He buy from u 100 then he sells them 100 a piece. Save it.. Maybe u help out a fellow ram owner.
Anyway who wants to buy a half bumper... With sensors is better and probably worth a bit more

So selling the bumper with the sensors as a whole is a better option on craigslist?

Yup, that's what I'd say as well. It's always easier to sell something when all the pieces are there.

Otherwise I'd find out what the dealership would charge for the sensors, then maybe knock 20% or so off that and tell your shop that number as your price. If they want them, then great you can make some extra cash. Otherwise just keep them and sell them with the bumper.

Possibly... I don't know if they even sell a sensor kit for our trucks. It would be a good sale if you are getting the entire sensor setup up to the plug and not just the sensors and cut wires.

It might sell well because someone who has a bighorn without sensors might be able to add them if they bought your bumper setup for a fraction of the cost.

I think I will list the whole bumper with sensors on craigslist for $400.

the sensors sell for $50 each new
complete rear bumper with the sensor holes run about $350 to close to 600, new, depending on body style

So $400 for a complete bumper with sensors is fair to ask on Craigslist?

It is a fair price
I would ask more, like $500 & let them think they talked you down to a lower price

when you post it, mention whether it has the cut outs for the dual exhaust or not

I bet some member in here will snatch it up
add shipping cost of course

From personal experience I can tell you the rear bumper is WORTHLESS on craigslist without the sensors. I have a Brand new 2011 Ford F-250 rear bumper I took off when I got my Ranchhand so I kept the sensors. It is perfect have tried for over 2 years to sell it without luck dang near giving it away . Most people just don't need an incomplete bumper and Body Shops can't buy it because it isn't new. I am on several different parts websights and to be honest stock bumpers are pretty common.

I could be wrong but I imagine you could be sitting on it for a while without the sensors. Also as mentioned above I would make sure you get the whole harness so it is plug and play for whoever buys it.

Also just FYI alot of Laramies have the camera but no sensors so if it is chrome and complete I bet it would sell quick.
