I also had suspicions of that so I had my headers taken off and resealed. And the entire exhaust setup is brand new. It definitely can be frustrating.

I wondered about this also. I got to thinking about a possible small header leak beacause both fronts are now furthur back but only one is codeing.

The turning off the rear o2 suggestion is this case would most likley not help the P0133.

Well, I still have the damn code. Checked really good for leaks, none. Put a new NTK sensor in still coded. Even swapped around my wire extensions from pass. rear to the driver front so both fronts would have the extension on them to see if maybe the code was popping up because the pass. (bank 2) and drivers side (bank1 , the one codeing ) didn't have the same length wires. No luck with that either. The funny thing is when I removed the extension from bank2 S2 and left it unplugged so I could test bank1 S1, doing that made bank2 S1 code. But no code on bank2 s2 which was unplugged. thought that was strange. Anyway put everything back the way it should be and the bank2 codes went away, but still getting 'ol trusty po133 bank1 s1. I have tried everything I can think of. Still don't get why only bank1s1 is coding when both upstream sensors are in the same location in the headers. I guess I need some advise now on who I should contact about a new tuner and custom tune. Killin me I put all this $ in my exhaust and it not getting the mileage it should because of the code. Sorry for the long post.

I haven't had a chance to get the smoke test done but the guy at the shop thinks he could hear a small leak on the inside where the tubes connect. Visually I cant see because the run close together parallel for a while. Maybe we have similar issues since we both could not find a problem

That crossed my mind as well. The area where all the tubes come together into the collector. I cannot see into that area either. Put a shop vac in one tail pipe and stuffed towels to seal it up a a towel in the other and used a spray bollle with soapy water. couldn't hear any leaks or see any bubbles when I sprayed the soapy water on the joints and flange. Thought about putting some sea foam in lettin it set like the instructions on the bottle say. I know from past experience it will smoke like a mo-fo till it burns out. Maybe you could see any leaks that way. I used to have a 98 with headers on it that I had to replace the gasket because of a leak. Leaky headers aren't quiet. I would think I could hear it leaking if it was.

Mine do have an annoying clicking sound. But not distinct enough to say exhaust leak based by sound. I went out this morning to do the shop vac and soapy water method but since my headers run parallel for such long distance I don't think I will see anything from that. I also wanted to do the seafoam thing but since they are all brand new sensors I don't wanna risk getting them all dirty.

I feel the same about the sensors. Mine are all new as well. I'm starting to think it may be my Superchips programmer thats making it code. Changed it from the 91 program I always run to the mileage xs program and my hard headed po133 went away and i got a po504 or something like that. I didnt write it down, goin off memory. Changed the truck back to stock to see what happens.

still getting a po133 code with the superchips off. Guess I'm gonna go by the xaust shop that wselded up my pipes and make sure about any leaks then onto figuring out where to go for a custom tune.

ill be curious to see what you find. I hooked up my shop vac on blow and found a leak just under my bank 1 sensor 1. looks like it was a lousy weld job. it is a small leak but I also found that the rtv sealant wasn't done very well either after my collector and was getting small leaks from both sides. Im hoping by the end of the week to get in back to the exhaust shop to fix the leaks and verify that I am not leaking from inside the headers. just figured id let you know what I found since we have been dealing with the same code
