Turn your headlights on-close the door because of ding ding- and unplug the headlight.
Check with the multi meter if you have power. If not, go to your bank, get $650.00 out, make a trip to the frienly dodge dealer and buy a new tipm. Disconnect battery and change the tipm
Problem solved.
Everything else is waste of time and miney, because at the end u need a tipm anyway.

^^ this is most likely. OR you can do what I did and just trigger the passenger low-beam with a relay from the driver side and live with knowing the TIPM p/s low circuit is fried.

The question is, how long that lasts and more burns out. Either way you will end up with a tipm.

Hang on a sec. You are saying that the lamp out is going off on your dash... but the bulb is not blown? Have you pulled out a mutlimeter and check to see if the voltage is even going to the plug connecting to the headlight?

Sure would suck if it was as simple as a ground or something gone wrong.

LAMP OUT light blinks and dings when I start it up, then just stays on, no power at plug muti meter and test light, even jumped ground to -battery

Yikes. Me personally I would try to find the wire and follow it back but that is me. As said above it may be a TIPM.

Occasionally, but in most cases a toasted circuit is done because it's a physical issue not a programming one.
