Default Sport Fog Lights

hi i have a 2001 1500 sport and i bought it with out the factory fog lights. i would like to reinstall them but i cant seem to figure out how they attach. i think i may have the wrong ones. any insight into if they are special brackets or if there is a way to mad the lights to work on the sport version would be very helpful. thanks.

I believe there is a "special" bracket. Meaning the Durango nor the Dakota will work. I also believe that it's held in one top, one bottom with a 10mm that attaches also with 2 10-mm nuts up top. Look for the two broken/rusted studs that probably let to the ultimate removal of the originals.

Those are the aftermarket versions of course but they should give you an idea on where to look for the mounts.
