mind me askin how long it took to get the foxbox from the time you ordered it ?

I have everything but a box and cant make up my mind what to buy . I've heard a couple complaints about the foxbox on the forums .

I prefer the 10's -- some reason I think they hit harder. I have the type R with a kenwood amp

Damn that sucks! I thought I had seen someone on here running a 12" FI in a net audio box, guess not though. I have also discovered I have a weekend coming up dedicated to some sound dampening. Wish I would have done it in the first place. I have always liked 12s, but my last system was 10s and it just seemed right to follow suit, no real reason I guess. Ps, if you do decide with the fox box, take heed to this warning!! Took me 5 weeks to get mine!! Lol good luck with the build bro, keep us posted!

Yea bud took about 5 weeks from the day I ordered to a recieved shipment. Joe gets a shipment of products to build the boxes and does as many as he can. Then he waits for another shipment to arrive to build more. So you could get lucky and order and get it within a week, or it may take a month. Call him up and let him know what's going on and how long it would take to get one. No complaints at all with the box itself. People think I paid some real coin for the box because of the good looks and great sound. Good luck man

A bit confused; you took the signal from the rear passenger door - I thought that was not a full range signal but was rolled off. Not so?

You will have to excuse me man, I really don't know all the technical lingo as you could probably tell from reading my thread. I gained most of my knowledge by looking at other peoples builds on this site. I came across threads where people took the signal from rear speaker for their loc, so thats what i did as well. I really would't know how to go about testing for the actual frequency range of the speaker. I don't know if you could get the higher frequencies from the signal of the rear speaker or not, if thats what you are asking. All i used my converter for was the sub signal. And it is pure, clean bass that I am getting. There is bass roll off from factory, from what i could tell from having to adjust the LC2i. Sorry if i didnt help you out with all that. lol

It would make since that it's a full range signal since the rears appear to put out a full signal both high and low.

Yea i took a few videos with my phone and it just sounded horrible! I couldn't make myself post them up. It didn't do it any justice at all. But im still very satisfied with the set up. I do have some dimming when i crank it up a bit, but not too bad.

Can you get a picture of how the LC2i wiring looks from where you tapped and where you installed? Mine arrives today.

I unfortunately didn't take any pics of where I tapped into the rear door speaker wiring. But it's pretty easy to find once you take the B pillar trim piece off. And i'm at work offshore right now so I can't go snap a pic. I did go back and take a few more pics of how I wired at the lc2 unit..

Make sure you tap into the left channel if you want to use the GTO feature.

I took the Power, Ground, and remote out and piggybacked off of the amp.

And this is where I have the settings for the lc2i, you will have to mess around with the threshold feature on the side a little bit.

Hope that helps a little bit, sorry didn't have any pics of the stock wires I tapped into.
