Well, i am in Texarkana, Arkansas
I think Big Enos drank all the Coors Original, If there is any left, i may drink it tonight
http://www.texarkanatakeout.com/19_f...s-bar-menu.htm
the waitresses where short short jeans & a Fat Jacks T-shirt
believe me when i say that the Lady customers make up for it

Yes i am intentionally stopping in Dayton Ohio for Saturday & Sunday
my old neighbors live there, they ride Harleys too, 12 at last count, Pat's wife BJ has been working on motorcycles for a hobby, for almost as long as i have known her

Seeing as how i will be in Dayton Ohio, it is in the I-80 & i will be taking it to Scranton, Pa, & then jump on 84 from there into Danbury & Waterbury Connecticut

I woke up this morning to Thunder & Lightning, & rain
I think that i passed this storm back in Arizona & it caught up to me

I don't plan to be driving all the way to Dayton today, i don't want to be there until maybe noon tomorrow
One good thing about the rain, i won't be seeing much if any road contruction going on today, it has slowed me down, especially around Ft. Worth

I plan on stopping somewhere around Nashvile Tennessee - Louisville Kentucky tonight

Have to get on the highway soon ...

Well, i didn't make it to Louisville Kentucky today
rain stayed with me for about 4 hours
then i moved north of the rain & road construction was all over the place

i crossed Arkansas & Tennessee today & for some strange reason
i looked at my MPG average & i saw something that i had not seen before, except for going down very long hills
i was reading 20.1 MPG !!!!

usually i get 17.4 mpg across the desert floor in California & at or below Sea Level

Makes me wonder if it runs best at 700 feet above sea level ??

Tomorrow i will be in Dayton, Ohio

Sorry to hear you didn't make it as far as you wanted to, but getting better fuel mileage sure can make up for it.
