Default Gas tuning numbers

Hello, I picked myself up a Diablosport Trinity1000 and when it comes to tuning it only has 87, 91 and 93. Im running 89 octane. I live in Canada if that makes any difference. Which tune would I use or is there something else I have to download from the Diablosport site. I have emailed Diablosport but its been awhile and I haven't heard back from them yet.

Best to have higher octane in your tank than you need with your tune.

I use 89 (minimum) octane fuel also and run with the Diablo 87 tune,
When I'm ready for the track I put in 94 octane from Husky
and load up my 93 tune, max the crap out the shift points, rev limiter, speed limiter and throttle booster.

Only hard rule , never run a higher tune with lower grade fuel,
its fine to run higher grade fuel (detonation suppressed) with no tune at all, just more expensive.

I know this is going to be a very noob thing to ask, but I am really new to all this. While I am driving do I keep it plugged in or do I unplug it?

With the Trinity you can do either,

Leave it in if you want to use the extra gauges in "monitor" mode
or unplug and remove it, take it in the house for security, the tune stays on your PCM until you manually remove it.

Just as a side note, while your truck has a Diablo tune installed,
the factory Dodge settings are stored on the Trinity for safe keeping.

The tuner cant be used to tune any other vehicle now because it is "Married" to your VIN number while its holding your stock tuning settings.

To de-tune your truck you have to revert back to the stock numbers by retrieving the info from your Trinity.

one more thing lol

If you dont want it mounted in a highly visible windshield location,
the suction cup sticks on any flat surface like the floor console ...

I like it here because my right thumb is just inches away from the button adjustment with my hand on the shifter
