Default Dash and Sunrood Noise....What to do.

So I've got two annoying noises and I'd like to know the best way of going about getting them addressed, given my past history with this dealership.

Noise #1 is is a loud creaking sound whenever the sunroof opens and closes. This only started happening after the sunroof glass was replaced a few months ago as there was a huge scratch on it when I bought it. First visit I was told they adjusted the glass and Lu ricated the tracks. The tech had said the track was dry. It was quiet for a few days and then was back to being noisey. The second visit I was told there was no grease which resulted in rubber on rubber contact. Track was relubricated and it was quiet for exactly three days.

So is it supposed to make a creaking noise? I don't think so as it is quiet for a few days after they lubricate it. What is the next step as it will be the third visit? Should I go to another dealership or am I stuck dealing with this one as a dealership has already touched it (a different dealership told me).

Noise #2 is a rattle that I believe comes from the centre console or centre dask area. You can hearing going over bumps, ruts, uneven road, etc. It is the ONLY noise that is heard in an otherwise quiet truck. It sounds like either a plastic piece is flexing, tightened too much and is stressing or is not tight enough allowing some play. I did have the centre console shifter replaced last October as again it had a huge deep scratch it in (no scratches since) when I bought it. I believe it might be related to that repair though. I have emptied out everything in the dash and centre console and it is still there. I've wiggled all accessible pieces and again no noise.

I took it in during the same visit as the second visit for the sunroof and my mistake was not going with the tech for a test drive. Of course, no noise was found. I suggested it might be coming from the centre console and was told they would keep the work order open if it still made the noise but I might consider removing the panels myself if I thought that was the issue.

So any input/advice?

Check this thread out it might help, I read a few had this issue of creaking from the dash ended up being this.

Asur, it's funny that you answer this question because it sounds like the OP is a fellow Quebecois'er. No offence intended. I am actually in Argentina and trying to speak Spanish but French comes out of my mouth mostly. I keep saying "oui" instead of "si".

OP, I hope you get your problems fixed. Squeaks and rattles can be tough to find et tres fatiguant.
