Going to cut out the cars but don't wanna have my check engine light always on. Are there ways to fool the computer?

Default O2 delete sensors?

rear 02 sensors disable via custom tune or try non foulers.

You can't disable it with superchips. The only way to disable them would be a custom tune using a diablo tuner or using the steel wool non fouler trick. I believe you have to slightly drill one of the non foulers and then screw them together and pack steel wool in them and that's all there is to it. I would search a little more on the forum for that answer though or just google it

Just like they said, either custom tune (can't do it with superchips) or the spark plug non fouler trick.

To elaborate, you buy 2 spark plug non foulers (can be had at autozone/advanced auto) in the "help" brand. They are basically just a spacer for spark plugs. They happen to be the same thread as the O2 sensors. Buy two of them, drill one out with a 1/2" drill bit. Screw the O2 sensor into the one you drilled out. Then screw that assembly into the other spacer. Then screw that whole thing back into the exhaust pipe.

Some people also pack it with steel wool.

On my 97 s10 I didn't pack it with steel wool and it worked. On my 2010 4.7L ram I did pack it with steel wool and it also worked.

I had no luck with the non-fouler trick on my 2012 Ram. I tried adding steel wool and even went as far to try the "mini-cats" from big daddies garage and those were a waste of money. Basically now that you cant get simulators anymore everything is a gamble except the custom tune(shit even the simulators were a gamble).

My advice, save the time and aggravation and get a custom tune for a Diablo. It's a little more money now, but for all the cash you will spend trying to "trick" the ecu you could have just done it right the first time and will end up saving in the long run. Plus, if you dont have a tuner and you plan on continuing mods on your truck it is an inevitable investment anyway.

Good luck whatever you decide...

I know I don't have a hemi but the non fouler trick worked on my 4.7L. I don't know why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but it only costs a few bucks so is worth a shot.

I'm REALLY glad it worked in my case because the superchips tune is much better than the diablo tune on my truck and I didn't want to give up that performance and the trans tuning.
