NGK are good plugs. Does your 2002 even have wires?

I figured they always have wires lol I'll have to look when I leave work.

Also since I've owned truck (2-3 years/ 30k miles) I never changed plugs, have no idea if old owner did.

These engines run best on the oem replacements. My Hemi took 16 plugs (NGK SPLZFR5C-11). I cant say weather the plugs made a difference, because I installed my header's, and K&N CAI at the same time. Truck had just under 40k miles at the time.

Rule of thumb is to change plugs around 30k mils, or when the manual states.

Also, you can examine the old plugs to see if there are any other problems.

So your saying don't go with NGK and get OEM ones? Truck is 4.7, does it not have wires to replace?

I would clean the throttle body with a good throttle body cleaner(not carb cleaner) I like to use Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner in the gas tank. It comes in 12 & 20 ounce bottles, they recommend 1 ounce Chevron per gallon of gas. I generally throw a 20 ounce bottle in on a half tank of fuel. Throw a good set of spark plugs in & I'll bet it will perk right up.

82corvette, I don't need to take throttle body out to clean it just put in gas tank and it does it all by itself?

Buddy (02ram) lol, think I don't need to do coil packs or do them as well, don't know why I'm typing this on here when I can text you lol.

Also I did just do a oil change and that helped it ALOT! But will be doing plugs for sure.
