Everything Fred said is 100% true.

I run the same muffler and I deleted my resonators. It sounds FANTASTIC and there is no drone, at all, at any speed and even in MDS. It is not terribly loud but it lets you and everyone else around you know that you have a Hemi under the hood. So I vote to delete the resonators based soley off my own experience with this muffler... but remember the key thing here, sound is subjective and everybody likes something different. So have fun!

^^Yes it will. I run a 18" on mine and it does not bother anyone unless you put your foot in it. I do have resonators though. Not everyone's truck will sound like Cheffred's though. He has top end engine mods, cams, heads, tune and long tube headers. That's why his sounds so sweet.

Check out BSM Exhaust Works on here if the wifey is being stingy with the money. I got my muffler thru them. It's T409 S.S. just like our factory exhaust. It sounds pretty much identical to Magnaflow. Very good product without the big name price. I have a total of 110 dollars in my muffler swap, that included having it welded in. 65 shipped for the muffler and 45 bucks to weld it in. They have tons of different sizes.

I actually make excuses like "what if I need a certain tool I have sitting in my truck..ok, I'll drive it today"...
LOL this is exactly what I do. I get out to the driveway and look at the 2004 chevy aveo with a 98hp 1.6L, then I look at the v8 Ram. We choose the ram WAY more often haha. The only time I don't choose the ram is when it's a rain free day and the buell is whispering "ride me".

I did the exhaust on my 4.7L a few months ago with a friend. It turned out great, it sounds really good. I moved the crossover to behind the transmission, changed to the magnaflow y pipe, and replaced the stock muffler with a straight through muffler. I left the stock tailpipe with resonator. At first it was a little louder than I wanted(14" muffler) but I'm starting to like it more. It bothered me how loud it was at first, but I'm used to it now. I will say I probably would get an 18" muffler if I were to redo it. But it's not obnoxious or anything, it's loud when you want it loud and not so loud when cruising. I never really posted a good video/sound clip, phones suck for that. Maybe I can find a friend that can record it and I'll post one.

is there a soundclip available of your setup ? .. and what modifications had to be made on this for fitment? The stock appears to be longer than 22 ..
Thanks.
