Default are quad headlights worth it vs dual?

kinda thinking out loud here...
my truck came with the dual setup, and i am wondering if its worth switching. my duals are ok but it seems like it lacks. may buy new bulbs and see if that will help me.

these are pretty cool. seen the painted blue on there site and it would look nice with my ram (retro shop) they also have painted duals how does that work? i assume the paint will follow that line between headlight and turn signal?

or would it be worth upgrading to the 13+ projector lights? which will be around 650+

cant afford either one and really want to keep it factory looking, but just wondering i am still leaning towards the painted quads..

pic of painted headlights

pic of my ram so i think theses^^ will make it look good.

If you go to quad lights you will still only have 1 set of lights at a time like having dual lights. As far as light output might be better if you go HID lights but your highbeams will be great with quads.

Thanks eventually i will look into buying a quad setup. Not going the hid route

Also another light question on my 96 a better relay harness combined with new housings made it way better. Same with the cruze better harness better light output. Is the 11 the same way?

I can tell you stock for stock, and IMHO, I think the quads are slightly brighter. I came from duals in my express to quads in my big horn.

i havent done anything yet prob wont for a while, but i was looking at my lights how in the heck is one supposed to change the bulbs? i dont see any wires going to it. like my past rides...

let alone replace the housing.

my 96 was pretty easy to replace bulbs (just remove the housing and replace bulb)

also what yall think about the painted headlight housings? would it look pretty good with my blue ram or save money and not worry about it.

Changing the bulbs is way more involved then needs to be. It's appears to be f'n ridiculous, but not hard to do.
