Default Need new headlight bulbs

Am in a 2015 express black edition so I believe I have the sport headlights.

I need something that is much brighter that is a direct drop in.,sylvania or Cree or piaa.

What bulb is the headlight? H11? Is it one bulb with high/ low function?

What about the fog lights? Anyone know those bulbs?

Much much appreciated.

Although I find my light to be okay for brightness I too wish they were a lot brighter.

And although it would be expensive to do I wonder if anyone has installed the HID Bulbs/Ballasts and Jumper Harness from a Challenger SRT8. I had the HID Lights in my SRT8 and they were very nice indeed.

Hmmm....now I am curious and will have to google this to see if it can be done as I would like to use OEM Stuff if I was going to make a change.

I'm not looking for hid's..I just want a direct factory replacement for headlights and fog lights.

Went to autozone and could only find fog lights...asked at counter..and they said go to dealership..tried that..dealership said be careful because someone put something in that burned up their oem harness.

I am looking for a new bulb that is a more true white..like 5000k..I know piaa and sylvania make them but I just don't know what part# to get

The owners manual for your truck will tell you which Bulbs you have in the maintenance section page 808.

Mine says:
Premium Bi Halogen Projector Headlamp - Low Beam is HIR2LL
Premium Bi Halogen Projector Headlamp - High Beam is 9005LL
Fog Lamp (Vertical Shape) is 9006

Now just google replacement bulbs for the above part numbers. I am sure the choices will be numerous.

I Took manual with me...that's how I know they had fog lights..I was looking for matching headlight bulbs and nothing..

I have projector in my motorcycle and it's only 1 bulb for low and high..I don't see how 2 bulbs fit into that sphere.

I don't want to buy 3 packs of 60$ light bulbs and open them and be stuck with them. Kinda looking for someone to chime in that has swapped out bulbs

there is a separate bulb for low and highs. The low beams are hir2(9012) and the high beams are 9005. You can also use a 9006 bulb for your low beams

I was really hoping it was a bi funtion bulb..these shits are expensive! 60$ a pack....I'd be looking at 180$ plus tax for new bulbs....damnit!

I don't want to hassle with hid's..I retrofitted my motorcycle and it was a PITA..bright as shit..but $$$$ and a PITA lol

I may wait a while because I was reading these are relatively new bulbs..most people swap in hid's.

Phillips H9 and 9011 bulbs. You will have to spend a whopping 3 minutes trimming the bulbs BASE to fit. Tons of HOW-TO examples on the net and in this forum. Insane difference. Took my buddies truck, side by side, with mine. I turned off my lights , he turned On his lights, back n forth. amazing hoa much farther the new lights shown and a lot brighter color tempt (WHiter light)

the low beam bulb is actually a high beam but since the truck has a glare shield, we can get away with it, does nto affect others, stay away from simply adding HID bulbs without changing the lenses.

Woody has the Blackout Edition so he has the Sport Style Headlights with the Projector Lens.
