Lol, it happens to the best of us.

To the bro who had his son turn them on,

Do they come on full strength like when you use them for turn signals or hazards, or do they come on 1/2 power like when you use the remote start?

So stupid for it not to be an easy thing for us to be able to activate! One of the only complaints I've ever had with Dodge / Ram !

Hi
I live in Belgium
I own a dodge ram 1500 laramie 2013 hemi 8 speed with the projector/LED lamp assemblies.
I asked my local dealer to activate the DRL light. He does not want to change the country code because hè is afraid that the whole electronical System wil be change from Dutch to English.
Would this happen if we select canadian and select the circuit to use for the DRL?

If it isn't possible. Can we rewire the DRL to key on?

Kind regards
Sacha

Using the Chrysler Diagnostic Engineering Tool:
He selected the BCM, ECU Configuration 2 (CBC Features), DRL Configurations. From the drop down he selected Canadian DRL.

Next he selected DRL Lamp Location, (just below DRL Configurations) and from the drop down selected Turn Signal DRL.

Last, he clicked on the write button, cycled the ignition, and wala, DRLs are on again.

Sorry the pictures of the computer screens are blurry (guess the phone camera didn't like the screen) but you can make out the data.

This is AMAZING info man

We can run just the drls in Canada, I can have them switched on and driving with out low beams, high beams or fogs even at night. Most of the time during the day I just drive around with it switched to the drls no otherights, most of the other rams with the projectors I see so the same, it's like our version of the corvette wave I guess lol.

Printed this out, took it to my dealer, and.... nothing.

They claimed these steps set the truck to be Canadian, and wouldn't do it.
