Exclamation S & B or Volant...choices, choices...

I have a 2008 QC 4x4 Sport and after reading the CAI Evaluation thread, I've narrowed it down to the S & B or the Volant. I already have a Diablosport Trinity which is due for a Whitelightning Engine and Transmission tune once the kit is in. Just not sure which one to go with... any input is greatly appreciated!

I have S&B and absolutely love it. It has always gotten good reviews. Volant however is also an amazing intake. I don't think you could go wrong with either one. I just preferred S&B.

Are you running the oiled filter, or the dry one? Just a question, as I've heard to stay away from their dry ones...

I am running dry as I personally dislike oil. But I plan on trying oiled soon.

I'd go with the S&B over the Volant. I like the idea of the clear cover so you can see the filter. I've read of people having problems with the Volant filter falling off as well which you would never see unless you took the cover off. At least on the S&B you can see inside to make sure it's sitting right and how dirty it's getting. Plus S&B has the extra bottom scoop

For an 08 go S&B with the scoop as it also replaces the Hemi "hat"/resonator, the Volant does not.........I still wish S&B made a setup for my SRT10...........
