Torque converter and a gear swap were the only noticeable gain for me as well. Dropping 2" off the tires was like a gear change in itself. Everything else was purely for looks or sound.

what converter's do you guys have? I put an aftermarket converter in my truck and although it's a blast to drive, the truck is no faster(might actually be slower lol).

Atco mostly and sat or sun what ever day will have the best air.my bully dog is a 40430 and it just took me 2 1/2 hours on there tech line to get it working.
Now for the hot news,at this point don't waste your money.takes some tq management away(I don't think so) my truck burns less now than before.The only good things are the 6000 rpm rev limiter from second on and that multi spark thing shut off.It might get better but for now I don't see it.I have a strange feeling my truck is slower.lol

Im running a 2800 circle d.. by far the best mod yet.. dropped half a second off my 1/8 mile time

I know I don't have a 4th gen but even with my 03, I didn't see gains until I did long tube headers, no cats, 4.56's and converter, which converter was not even much of a gain, get a circle d in that thing drag PAC , that 3200 in there like tylerb and that thing will fly

Just noticed how much timing is being pulled during the 1-2 shift.It goes from+15 to -10 degrees.the tq management is killing this truck.
