Default 35 inch tires with 3.21 gears?

Just wondering if anyone has gone up to 35's from the stock 33's ?
is there a big power loss? Does the gas mileage suffer a lot ?
any input would be great thanks

you'll feel it for sure. but it won't be the end of the world.

I mean I estimate a 3-4 mpg loss.

I have 3.92s and took a 2-3 mpg hit with my 35" M/Ts

What type of 35" tires? An all-terrain or a mud-terrain? What brand and model precisely?

Yeah, I think you'll feel but more so notice a hit with that combo on your EVIC. This, of course is heavily dependent on your choice of tire.

Good luck.

I would say it would be a big difference. I am only going to 25's with my 3.55 geared hemi because of powerless

Outstanding tire in every way!

A "big" difference? I don't believe so personally. Doesn't have the rolling resistance of many of the more aggressive tires that many of us here upgrade to. One of the very best AT tires on the market today. Looks killer, too.

All things considered, you won't notice a "huge" difference as, say, you would with something like the Toyo MT's or the Nitto equivalent. You, however, will notice a change. It's a very subjective matter as one person's interpretation will vary from another's.

Go ahead and take the plunge, I say. If worse comes, a tuner will assist greatly. You'll be very happy with those tires.

Keep the boards updated.

Good luck.

If you look at my other thread about towing rate someone posted a link to the spec sheet that shows all the gear ratios. Plus when you bought the truck it should've said it on your build sheet or if you crawl under your rear axel, if the sticker is still on it, it'll have it on there
