The only issue you might run into is that you probably drilled a bigger hole in the plastic plug to fit the hose. You may need to use a male 90 elbow fitting that adapts from 1/2" to 3/4". This way the ribs keep it locked into the hole you drilled in the plug. If not, some silicone caulking should do the trick. Ill post some pics tomorrow...too dark tonight.
Sounds good! Looking forward to seeing the pics. Thanks!

Here you go Crow! Pics should give you the idea. Beds pretty dirty....just got back from a fly-fishing trip with my buddies to eastern PA. FYI..I used a hacksaw and cut 2 of the ribs off of the male Elbow that goes through the bed plug to keep it from protruding really far towards the cab. All you need to buy is 2 Elbows and 4 Tube Clamps. After spending as much as you already did on the cover, whats another $5-10. Plus the Elbow will protect your tubes from being pinched if you put stuff in the bed, and both ends will be properly secured so they don't come loose. Hope this helps...let me know if you go this route, and make sure to pass it on to others with BakFlip covers!

Those pics explain your mod perfectly. Thanks for taking the time to take and post them. The tube clamps are a great idea. Looks like this mod is something I will probably end up doing, too.

Glad to help Crow. I hate to get off subject of the OP's topic, but I noticed you work for public safety. I'm sure most of us will agree that we greatly appreciate everything your doing for your local community. There's no possible way the local safety guys and US military could ever be repayed for all their hard work and dedication to ensure our safety and freedom.

Sucks lowes screwed up your cover, should of made them replace it, or at least give you some money
The F1 dents easily beneath too
I had one and it was dented.
But it never showed above and a one is what matters
Overall I liked it and probably will just grab it again

Something I should have done
Well i didn't install it. The dealer squished it at the top holes so it never got rid of the water

Nice write up on a your G2. Bak Flip does it well. Too bad on the damage Lowe's caused, if it were me, I would have had a conversation with store management, but that is just me. On another note, it is cool you enlisted the help of your daughter she will be better for the opportunity to turn some wrenches with dad.

You have no idea. I built an F-250 and she was there every step of the way. If she even thinks I am working on my truck she is begging to help. She immediately gets the creeper and puts her hair up (listen to her tell that story) I had a bolt that I couldn't get the nut on when putting in airbags because it was sandwiched between the rail and DEF tank. She snaked up under the differential and put it on and held the wrench. She helped me convert it from a radius arm to 4 link. 10 hour install she never left or got bored and is great at getting the small things.

Did I mention she is 8 and has brothers who don't know as much as she does!!
