Default 87mm Throttle Body

I just ordered an 87mm ported throttle body and just wanted to hear from some of you if I made a good choice. I have read the thread that goes into depth on how they work and everything but still a little unsure. Given my mods...K&N CAI, longtube headers, hi flow cats & Y, magnaflow muffler, and trinity.....should I be alright with what I ordered? I really don't want to lose low end torque.

Yes you should be fine with that. I had the some question and was told that with my LT headers I should get the 87 mm TB. I just haven't gotten around to it yet since I spent all my money on my exhaust...

Give that thread a good read. An excellent write up. Some of it is a little above my knowledge level but it may help you in deciding whats best for you.

If you are planning LT's then get the 87 anyways. If not the the 85 probably would be best but the 87 would still work as well.

You certainly are. There is a member selling his slightly used (think a few months old) TB. It's an 85mm as well
