Default mirror mount radar detector

I have a 2013 longhorn and wanting to add a radar detector. Was looking at the valentine model which has a mirror mount option. Looks like there is only about a 3/8 of an inch space between the back of the mirror and the black box that mounts to the windshield. Does anyone know if the mount will fit onto this mirror? Their website states it will not fit the ram, just wanted confirmation as I would prefer the mirror mount.

Don't know the answer specifically to your question but please let me know where you land on this. I'm shopping the best option for passport 9500xi mount myself. Good luck.

Blendmount is what I have for my 9500ix. Looks nice and fits well. The might do valentine mounts too.

I put in a blendmount for my passport 9500 in my 2013 longhorn and it works great, You would never know it was there and I just did not want anything thing on my nice new dash.Be aware though it is a little tricky to install.

Cobra Electronics' new under-the-hood iRadar S-Series would make the interior mount obsolete. Too bad we can't get it yet. Been waiting.

not sure what it is for but there is a sensor behind my mirror, possibly the headlights, not sure though. As you can see in the photo, there is not much space between the back of the mirror and the box. Since I don't have the detector mount in hand, it seems that it might not fit.
