Default Led sun visor lights.

I just tried to install the LEDs I got for my sun visor lights today and it was a mess! The bulbs at first seemed to get too hot and would smoke! But after messing with them they worked. But when you turn the key to the off position and open the sun visor flap the LEDs flicker on and off! And if you turn on the map lights they flicker too! But when I opened the sun visor flap on the passenger side (which didn't have the LEDs yet) the flicker stopped. Wtf is going on? I gave up on the install. Anyone successfully do it? Where'd you get your LEDs from?

I got mine from vleds.com I have always used them. I have no flickering issues in the visors, I do have flickering issue though in the map lights only when the key is off though.

Did your lights smoke? I'm scared I'm going to fry something!

No issues here either. Got mine from superbrightleds.com. You are suppose to disconnect the battery before you install those in particular. Not sure why. Finally, if they flicker in one position, try flipping them. Something to do with the way they're wired. It worked for me. GL.
