Just like the last update, I don't think I'm going to touch this just yet. I'll let other people go first who are much braver than myself.

Yup, this is software and software patches are not something you want to be first in line for.

I agree, at oil change time .. I'll schedule the update with them.
Not that it is difficult to do, with all the issues in the past .. I'll let them deal with the issues, should anything occur. Hate to do it this way, as I would like to do the update, but I don't want to be responsible for the aftermath.

So far, the last update is working well for me.

I know after the first update disaster they released...these updates have everyone gun shy and I suppose if I had some of the issues that some had I would be too.

I installed this update as well and haven't any issues to date. Everything seems to run a lot smoother and the touch screen response is much better/faster. It also improved the navigation when entering destinations.

Just make sure you do not have any of the error messages that are stated in the instructions prior to installing the update and you should be fine.

FWIW,
My radio had to be replaced and the new one came with this software version. I have not had any issues with it.
The only issue I have is that I feel like once I change a setting it should stay that way until I change it again. I have to turn shuffle mode on every time I start the truck. Fairly minor issue, but it still bugs me.

For those that are going to wait until the next oil change
personally i don't blame you

after all, they are not done upgrading the software or firmware
next month YELP will be replacing BING

it may be done by Satellite d/l, they have not said
