Default offset for new wheel and tires 2013 ram

Hello,
My first post here.

I am picking up my 2013 Ram 1500 today. Have always had Rams.

My question is "what tires and Rims are recommended for this truck with the correct OFFSET? I am doing a 6" RCX suspsension lift.?

I have read through a LOT of this forum and getting confused. I don't know if after market wheels come with the correct OFFSET or not ?
I want to go with BLACK 17" or 18" wheels and 37" tires.

Any recomendations.??

sorry if this was covered somewhere else.

Pics of what someone has that will work for me is greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention...I am thinking about going with 12.5" width.

I believe someone told me on here my stock wheels for my '12 ram were like a +18 or +20 offset. The lower or negative the offset, the more the tire sticks out I believe. I've always been kinda confused on this as well as I've been looking for some rims, but don't know whether to go 0 offset or what

The stock 20x9's are +19 offset.

In order to clear a 37x12.5 tire on an aftermarket rim you need at least a 20x9 0 offset or a 20x10 -12 offset. You can go further negative if you want to, you will just stick out further which does increase your chances of rubbing on the inner fender. But with a 6" lift you shouldn't worry about that. I'd just go for what you think looks good.

There are a few stickied threads in the Lifted 4x4 section of the forum. You should take a look through that to see guys different combinations.

I'm running 20x9 -12 offset with 35x12.5's with just a level. There's a link in my signature to my install thread for the wheels and tires. You can check that out if you want to see how far the 20x9 -12 offsets stick out.
