Default front axle wouldnt engage

Howdy...
I was having a problem with my front axle engaging so I started reading on here... as usual, there were alot of helpful hints... I wasn't getting any vacuum at the axle but I was getting alot at the t-case... so in tracing out the metal lines going by the exhaust, I found it... there is an "L" "boot" by the axle mounted to the frame at the end of the metal lines... My black line was broken right below the boot... splice, and everything is good now... Figured I would post this incase it helps some one else as well...

thanks guys!!
