I had the mopar CAI on my 11 ram, really liked it and it worked very well. It is a dry filter, and washs very easily..

If you're interested I have a diablo trinity t-1000 programmer for sale that will work on your truck. I traded my ram in 2 weeks ago and took the programmer with me..Ill let it go for $300 retail is $600..

The Mopar is an open element box like the K&N or Airraid. VERY noisy at WOT.

Vararam will make the most power and as you're in Texas, snow is not a concern (snow can get into the Vararam's ram-air intake)

S&B has phenomenal build quality with terrific filtering, and a great sound without being obnoxious.

Or, for a few bucks, you can add a ram-air tube to the bottom of the stock housing, change the paper filter to a Green or S&B unit and enjoy most of the benefits for a fraction of the price. If I could go back in time, this is what I'd do. There are some trick setups on the 'net, using brake duct inlets in the lower grille or foglight recess.
