Default New 2500 CTD (Pics-window tint, vent visors, pillar tape removal)

Pics of new 2013 CTD-pillar tape is removed, added AVS in-channel vent visors this weekend, and had windows tinted (30% all around-which made back glass about 20%).

Here is test run with light loaded horse trailer (maybe 5,000 lbs). Just a little break in run.

Here is the pillar tape removal process-just a comparison for those interested.

Pillar tape comletely gone! Much nicer with paint showing.

Here is a picture of the pillar tape coming off (not much sticky adhesive beneath). It was about 80 degrees out-just pilled it right off. Had a little residue on the first door I attempted, but it was because it started peeling from bottom. I don't know what I was thinking-best to start peeling from top and pull down.

It's crazy how much better these trucks look with the B-pillar tape removed. I don't know why Dodge is even putting that on from the factory. Looks good! Definitely jealous of your 2500 CTD. I'd love to have one but can't afford it quite yet. One day though....

Thanks! I had absolutely no need for this diesel...it's a beast tho! Loving it so far. I love the pillar tape being gone.

Haha ya, same. I have no need for a diesel at the moment. I just want one because it would be bad ass. lol. Plus they look way cooler/bigger lifted than a 1500 which is the look I'd be going for.

Thanks. Should I be posting about the 2500 CTD elsewhere? I've looked everywhere on Ramz. Not much diesel action, but I thought just generic 2013 truck stuff should be OK here. Your comment made me wonder.

Not at all....keep the pics coming we all love the 2500's

My comment was made simply due to many members here upgrading from 1500's to 2500's
There has not been many 2500 or cummins on these boards till the past 3-5 months.

It's making me want to trade in

Thanks! Wait 2 years, and I'll see you mine! I waffle about every 2 years and want something else. I've wasted more money on vehicle purchases over the years---I could have paid off the federal debt by now!
