Default 2002 ECM Question

Hi all, I'm new to the group. Problem: have an with a 4.7 and the passenger side fuel injectors are not working. Engine runs, drives, etc but very rough. Had my mech look and he looked and tested - no codes or dash lights. He thinks it is the ECM. I purchased a re-man unit from Cardone, had it flashed and its all ready to install but I just wanted to make sure a) the right way to install it (seems straight forward but want to make sure) and b) is there anything I should be checking before I plug the new ECM in. I don't want to blow it or anything else.

Thanks for your expertise. CWH
