How do you get the panel below the glove box off? It looks like it is held on by three push pins. Is there a secret to getting these out?

Geno's is on back order and I ended up getting mine from the local dealer for a little less than Geno's price.

On a side note, I checked out the location, it seems like there's something already inside that area, is there a way to check that nothing is behind that piece Im about to cut out?

There is nothing behind the area that needs cutting, how to check what is behind, cut out the piece and check seriously you can pull off the motor and see there is nothing, some actually find it easier to do it with the motor remove.
