Default Wax ?? What to buy

I have a 2003 Ram factory paint flame red and my paint is starting to get dull so its time for a good wax or polish . Just wondering what maybe I should use that I'm going to get my money worth that will do a good job ?

First off, if your truck hasn't had any extensive detailing work done to it in a long time it will need more than just a wax. You're going to want to start with a clay bar, then a compound polish, then a machine polish, THEN a couple coats of wax or paint sealant. There's tons of info on all this stuff in the washing and waxing section of the forum HERE. I'd suggest taking a look through some threads on there. You'll find tons of good information that people have posted. Posts by Primo Spaghetti are always good. He's the waxing and detailing guru on the forum.

i agree with brandon if it hasn't been detailed in while you will definitely need to go through some steps if your in real hurry cleaner wax may boost your shine just a little

Primo Spaghetti is a great resource for sure and there are tons of info in the wash & wax section. Some products to look at are Griots Garage, Adams & Zaino Brothers. Checkout the Griots Garage and Adams websites, both have how to videos and offer a lot of good information on product selection. Of course they will be geared towards their own products, but still useful and can translate to other brands. Some good auto store off the shelf products are Mequiars & Mothers.
