Default Pinion is stuck HELP!

Hello Ive been trying to remove my pinion from the 9.25 differential housing but it seems to be stuck, ive hit with hammers and cant budge it. The pinion nut has already been removed i just cant see anything else that would be holding it in? any ideas? UPdate i hit that thing like a maniac and it finally came out now i just hav eot get the bearing cups out anyone know how to do this?

You should be able to tap (<--LOL) them out from the front with a long (flat/round tip) punch.

You may be able to get in there with a slide hammer and a bearing puller (rear axle)










P.S. a BFH usually helps

No, no, no...I was merely referencing the use of an axle bearing puller to get the race out of the pinion.
