Does running a 1/4 inch spacer compromise the strength/integrity of the wheel lugs at all? I remember spinning the tires on my 70 charger r/t back in the day and watching my rear tire go flying by me on the road as I dragged sideways after it came off. It was not pretty.. Any thoughts? Also I believe my wheels are 20x8 right? not positive on that never really looked into it. Will that the Toyo tire I want to run originally fit on that rim without issues like cupping or center wear etc...?Really appreciate the help here guys.

I ran 1/4" spacers for awhile with a 35x12.50x20 and never had any issues. Get good quality solid billet ones through. the cheap ones are cast and I feel unsafe.
The at2 is actually 34.5x12.50 and as you mentioned their alternate size which is 11 wide is actually a 34.4 if I remember correctly. Either way I say use quality spacers and you will be good to go.

I am running the Toyo AT2s 35x12.50R20 on a 2013 sport cc 4x4. Stock wheels (sports are 9" though and express are 8 i think) Bilsteins set to 2.1" with a rear coil spacer at .75" and also have a 3/8" custom made wheel and hub centric spacer. I have a build thread here with a few recent photos.

I would think with the more narrow wheel you wouldn't need the spacers... But I'm not sure as the offset may be different.

If it is hub and wheel centric only thing that worries me is keeping lugs snug. I'd check em monthly.
I think yours are 8" wide.
According to toyo site they want at least a 8.5" wide rim for the 12.50 but I have seen plenty of guys with em on express trucks. Worst case I'd say pick one of the 295 wide sets - 295/60 is 34x11.8 and 295/65 is 35.1x11.8 and either set would look awesome.

Well I went in a bit of a different direction. I just pulled the trigger on the Bilstein 5100 ride height adj. shocks for the front. Be here next Monday. Ordered the Toyo LT 275/65/R20s instead since I will be towing a camper and don't want to deal with sway issues etc. They actually measure 34" and only 10"+ wide instead of 12"+ so I won't have to deal with the rim/spacer issue either. I can use my stock rims and get an 8 ply all terrain tire and ditch the Badyear tires that I only managed to get 30,000 miles out of before they were wore out with belt/cupping/wear issues. (And yes I rotate every other oil change whether it needs it or not and had an alignment immediately after noticing wear problems around 16, 000 miles. So these mods coming soon to photos once they are done will post before and after shots. Thanks much for all the advise guys! Greatly appreciated!
Almost forgot, Body Shop doing my linex next week soon as I get the other stuff done first will call and get my appt. already got a price of 340 under the rail. Thinking that's a good deal since I have my body work done there whenever I have had past issues.

Oh man, I love the ride and the way it looks. I am going to post up some pics soon as this weather breaks here in Maine. Mad rain here! Supposed to be good on Thursday and I am hoping to get my tow hooks on if I can. Now that I have some awesome front end clearance I can actually get under the truck. Tough for a 6'5" 300 pound guy to get under that stock front end height! Between the Bilsteins set at 2.1 and the 34 inch Toyo's I love it. Camp, here I come!

i have a 08 with a 2" leveling kit in the front and i was wondering if i could put 35x12.50 tires on the stock 20" rims , i heard i would need a 1/4" spacer but i was wondering if i could go with 1.5" wheel spacer instead
