Are you guys worried at all about the 8.4 A/AN UConnect in these trucks due to all the problems on these forums about them? I am thinking of going with the base radio and upgrading to aftermarket later. Do you think my thinking is flawed?

Hey guys, where can I find a build sheet for the 2014's so I can give it to my dealer? The guy I work with (or have been) doesn't work on the ram side of the dealership so he doesn't have access to the build sheet, does anyone have one so that I can basically build it myself and give it to him so he can pass it along? Thanks.

2014 Ram truck VIN#s are now being received by email

of coarse that doesn't mean that they are being built yet

RUN WILL ROBINSON, RUN!!! Find a salesperson who KNOWS the product, don't become a learning experience for the sales team.....

I went through six different dealers who DID work on the Ram side, and each of them was clueless regarding various options/features on the 2013 AND 2014. You may be very comfortable with the guy you normally deal with, but, comfortable isn't very comforting when you are stuck with a vehicle you are unhappy with and paying for many years down the road because the salesman was ignorant or assumed something stayed the same from the previous model year. I have only researched my truck for several months, but I still knew more about the specifics than the guys who have been selling them for 20 or more years, which made me VERY uncomfortable. I am always skeptical when I know more about the item as a buyer than the person selling it, whether it be a vehicle, computer, ratchet, litter box, or microwave. I feel it is the salesman's responsibility (and obligation) to be well versed and familiar with his product.

Dealer number one spent four days telling me I could not get a standard cab pick up with bucket seats. When I sent him a screen shot of the 2013 Ram Sport I built online he called and said he had never seen one in twenty five years. Dealer two swears the transfer case selector switch does not offer an "auto" mode. Dealer three insists heated seats are not available on any standard cab. I could go on and on, but hope you get the idea.....

Yeah I don't think there is an order form out yet, and you can't build them online...

I posted my order form, which can give you an idea...

I had a similar experience as dntdo1...

Dealer #1 told me a CC with 6'4" box and air-ride was never available in '13....and would be months 'til I could get a '14 with those options...

Dealer #2 told me there were three 2013 trucks available with that configuration in the US, but due to other options I wanted...I opted to order a '14 CC with 6'4" box and air-ride...now I wait...

FWIW - I ordered a 2014 standard cab 4 x 4 Sport early July. It has been in the "production scheduled" mode for just over two weeks, and has an anticipated ship date of the first week of August. I guess they start the assembly of the standard cabs earlier than the quad or crew cabs....

That decreases the cost of my build by about $500 over a 2013.

Hope this helps anyone looking to order a 2014
Where did you find those. I would like to get one for the Outdoorsman rather than the Sport.
