Default Hi everyone I'm new to the forum need help with my ram

Hey guys just bought a 2009 dodge ram 2500 series need some help the power stealing is hard when at a stop my Mechanic checked the pressure in the pump it was good also when I put it in 4x4 it makes a grinding noise and my tire pressure light is on the guy I bought it from had it sitting for 2 years what can be the problem

Welcome to the forum...

So you say the truck was sitting for 2 years?

Your problem with the steering might be in the Rack or Steering box, there are O-rings in it that need to be lubricated by the power steering fluid moving through the system, and the wheels being turned.

Similarly the problem with the grinding noise in 4x4 might be from the cv or axle U-joints having not been turned in 2 years. The grease hardens up, and the joint starts to fall apart, this is most noticeable when you are in 4wd. (Have all of the u-joints on the truck checked for excess play)

The TPMS I'm not sure of, but it might be something has gone dead from sitting for so long.

I could be wrong, but that's where I'd start...
