Default is my driver seat messed?

Every now and then when I jump in the truck I hear a small click, and can feel it to. Plus the Leather doesn't seem so good of a fit as with the passenger seat. All the functions work; cooling, heating, tilt, frnt/back/up/down. But just a click. Its kind of getting to me that the leather doesn't look so tight as it should be either.

Default Examine the seat yourself

Pull and push on the seat yourself. Clicks are typically metal - to metal. Maybe you can find the potentially loose spot.
Leather moves around as a material. Stitches don't always hold it as i'ts supple.

I've had 3 rams with vented seats. They all look like crap and are loose. I also have had the springs make noise in them. I have to take them apart and put felt where the springs go into the bottom base. I work on cars for a living so its easy for me.

Try to pinpoint it and then take her in to the dealership (or wait til it's time for an oil change). They need to make it right.

I have had all of my flaws dealt with (console latch, ambient temperature gauge and paint flaw) and they were actually pretty cool about all of them.

Worst part of it is you might have to leave it with them but a seat shouldn't take too long. On my paint flaw they gave me a rental truck for almost a week while the body shop fixed it.

Don't let it ride, you spent too much money to "try" to ignore it.

I have a 2013 Laramie and have the same problem with the leather drivers seat stretched out of shape (but I do not have the clicking noise) . I'm sure the passenger seat will eventually do it, but it does not get sat in as much either. The backing material underneath is also bunching up. All seat functions work properly. The dealership is taking care of this under warranty...but the problem is they cannot get the leather seat bottom. It's been 2 1/2 months. I receive calls from the service manager every two weeks with appologies, but they cannot get the parts...and promise dates for the parts move out every two weeks. Although this has been the most frustrating warranty issue I've ever experienced, I do enjoy my new Laramie and it pulls my camper very well. I will keep you posted on this issue.

Take it in. I have had 2 warranty claims, one a new hood and the other adjusting the drivers door. Chrysler has been good about them both, the dealership has been a1 and they are common issues they said, and I believe your seat is also. Most people are pretty understanding that you dropped 50K + on a truck and they'll usually try and make it right and you happy because repeat customers are what they want

yes you would think they would be cool about a problem like that. Only thing is the nearest dealer is 6 hrs dirt road away hahah. o well. ill let em know whats happening.
Plus the less I deal with my dealer the better. Im not going to get into whats happening with them but im still not settled with the money part and I bought the truck in February. They will definitely not be getting any recommendations of any kind from me.

Either way now I know the seat is a common issue.
Thanks for the input ppl

My seat had an on and off squeeking sound in it, they pulled the seat out, tightened everything down, put it back in and it's been fine since, knock on wood.
