I hate doing this but think I should bring it to the dealer have them take a look. Perhaps my electric fan in front of the viscous fan isn't engaging.

I'm no mechanic but I am pretty good with a wrench and in general pretty knowledgeable of vehicles. This isn't my first time in 4wd in this truck. I go off roading a lot the truck never does this. The big snow storm we had was literally in 4wd all the time never once got hot (but it was winter). It just seems to really hate the beach which makes no sense.

An engine turns and that is it. It doesn't care whether it is in 4wd or not. It's just going to spin, I could understand my transmission temp going up but not so much the engine.

When I did surf fishing I aired down to 18psi. You don't need to drive over 15 mph. And remember to air up when you get off.

on long island the speed limit on all beaches is 10mph. Have any of you guys tried the co2 for airing up?
