nice I did not know this. my st knock retard has never gone over 2.5....so I think im ok. im still waiting to swap out for a 180stat.

Headers and a good cat back exhaust woke mine up. Without tuning I hesitate to say do a cam and you don't want to go into the motor, but a mild cam like my sidewinder helped the bottom end grunt a lot. It tows much better.

I have a 03 also green air intake tb spacer spacer didn't help 180 tstat comp cam 268 mild works great shortys from Gibson don't like them and underdrive pulley works good and superchips

They are intended for carb engines. Its adds turbulence to the air and fuel...but fuel injected engines it is pretty much useless.

I agree, run a Mark VIII or a Taurus fan..that will be your cheapest option... ebay or wrecking yard..
