This was not in the original plans but I just bought a pioneer avhx3500bhs. I thought about it a little and if I want the best signal the only way to do that is to run right from the HU.

I was going to go with just the passenger side but after seeing this Im going to do both sides. Waiting to here back from net audio. Will then order the subs.

Amps will have to wait till next month.

I also heard about the PHD amp and that is being shipped over to the US from Italy right now.

Its getting closer.
This has got to sound amazing. I have decided to go with Sundown, and this sure is tempting. Do I really need to do 3, instead of 2? I want to keep my stock HU as well; I kind of like it. This would only be Phase 1, after seeing all these threads about the PHD Pro Setup, its tough not to want it.

I have never heard the PHD s in person. I am just goin off of what people have said about there quality and the amazing sound. PHD has the trophies and wins to back what I have heard.

As for the sundownaudio they are in the final stage of the 8" X that can handle a lot more power then there sa8. I would wait for the X but they won't fit in the box.

If you want the power of three but don't want three subs I would wait for the X to come out.

Heard from Paul again today. He is making the box as I type this and should have it out to me by end of next week.

This is a beautiful set up, can't wait to see it all buttoned up. I have the same head unit as you but the 8500 from pioneer and love it. It even brings the stock Alpine system to life it's insane the difference it makes with the proper EQ control.
