I really like them. The best sounding 8's I have ever heard. There is enough power there to hear outside the truck but not to the point that there is flexing for the doors of panels. Just the way I wanted it.

Did the Kicker amp install today. WOW!! it makes the truck sound a million times better. I turned of the sub and the other speaks sounded just like it did when I had the OEM sub in the truck. The sound is much more clean and crisp. I can hear parts of songs that I wouldn't with the alpine amp.

The only thing now is I have the 4wd/esp light on the dash now. Time to problem solve.

Default 09 Sport CC audio build

sounds good, my single 8" flexes my rear window and the headliner by the visors moves. im actually going for a loud system, im 22 what do ya expect. haha.

But as for sound quality, much muuuch better and lower than my 12 cvr sealed, and the past 4 set ups ive had in the past year. lol.
i think a second on ~1200rms will be what im looking for.

sounds like you have a hell of a system. keep up the good work and have fun with the troubleshooting. i have no idea what it could be... i had the basic radio with uconnect.

I could turn the gain up some. If I did that I'm sure I could get crazy flexing. Not what I want though. I still need to get the rear speakers then I should be all done with the audio. For now.

You will be really happy if you go that way. One of the best custom boxes I have ever seen.

Just ordered me some rear 6x9 kickee upgrade speakers and that should be it for now on the system.
