Default 2500 Low Pressure setting

Anyone know how to cycle through and set up the low pressure setting on the 2500's? The dealer set it up for me so I can have my OpenCountries on and the proper inflation without the warning light on, but one of my buddies pushed the button and its back to high pressure and I can't switch it back. It doesnt have a problem with the front or the right rear but it says the left rear tire is low even though they are all displaying equal pressure (66PSI)

on my 2500 I had to have the rear PSI below 55 or 60 before it would let me select the low pressure mode. I don't recall for sure. The new 3500 doesn't have the TPM and I am actually glad. I found it to be more trouble than it was worth.

Yeah thats why my friend went with the 3500 as well. Mine was the only G-56 in all of Alberta and BC in laramie trim so it was either 2500 or nothing. Any way to just delete it then?

Id like to just figure out how it works if anyone knows.

I would check with the dealers. I know on my patrol Charger we were having problems with the TPMS and they turned it off for the weeks that it took to get new parts in.

Thanks, yeah its going back to the dealer soon anyways because one of my Fuel rims is chipping off the coating on the rims so its getting that replaced under warranty so I'll get them to check it out and hopefully they can explain to me how it works.

Sucks that most dealers these days just say "Oh bring it in to us and we can set it up for you" when I'd actually like to know how to use it.

So if I lower the pressure and hit the button it should get rid of the low pressure code? Does this only affect the rear tires or do the fronts have to be lower too?

Yeah I actually have tons of pictures of it, sad part is, I can't post 'em here. I tried before and I keep getting an error. I was told to try Photobucket. I'll see how that goes and possibly throw up a thread here soon.

Actually I think I may have just figured out how to get pictures on here. I started an album on my profile. I guess I can just copy the link and post it here. This is from back a few months when there was still snow. Fits the white paint job nicely!

** Edit: Its hard to see but the licence plate in the front spells "EVOM" in backwards letters, so when you read it in the rear view mirror it says "MOVE"

Yep drop that rear pressure hit your button and you SHOULD be good to go. Only rear tires are affected by light load option. Fronts have to still be aired up higher to avoid getting the warning

Truck sure does look good. Photobucket is easiest to use for posting pics. Thanks for sharing

Thank yeah I'll give that a shot!

I appreciate the kind words, these days they aren't cheap to buy or build, totally worth it though. I had a half ton before and really appreciate the torque these beasts have. Yours is a pretty sweet looking truck as well, I wish I could have found something other than white but it was the only manual they had in the dealer network unless I wanted to special order.
